Ukraine paid off all debts to Gasprom for supply of Russian gas in 2006-2007. The press release of “Gasprom” Jsc., published yesterday evening, said.
“Today “RosUkrEnergo” totally and in time fulfilled conditions of agreement of paying-off debts to “Gasprom” for natural gas, supplied to Ukraine,” the press release said.
On October 31”RosUkrEnergo” got from “Ukrgasenergo” payment of USD 729 million and on October 18 – tranche of USD 200 million.
So “Ukrgasenergo” totally paid off debts to “RosUkrEnergo” in amount of USD 929 million in time as it was foreseen by the agreement.
As a reminder, “RosUkrEnergo” (Gasprom owns 50% of shares) buys central Asian gas and resell it to “Ukrgasenergo”.
