Leader of the Communist party of Ukraine Petro Symonenko considers that for unification of the left forces in Ukraine it is necessary to form the so called “left front”.
He stated in an interview with journalist after the flowers-laying ceremony to the monument of Lenin to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the October revolution.
According to Symonenko, all Ukrainian political forces of the left trend must support this initiative of the CPU. He is also sure that such political formation must hold the position against President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, who “wants to revive fascism in the country”.
