President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko considers that one grain stock should be in Ukraine. As the ForUm’s correspondent reports, the President stated during the conference in the Cabinet of Ministers concerning the situation at foodstuffs market.
“We have more than 20 grain trade stocks, this is Ukrainian find, and the world doesn’t have this. There should be on stock,” the President said.
Yushchenko is sure that if Ukraine doesn’t have stock market, so there is no stock price which would fix price for work of peasant.
Addressing Minister of Agrarian policy Yuriy Melnyk, the President stated: “I’m sure that until we have clearly formed agrarian stock, you will not have elemental mechanism to influence somehow on prices speculation”.
