President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko called political forces to be responsible for stability in the country. He said that on Friday during his visit to Chernihiv region.
He noted that the key task for political forces and nation is stability of parliament work. “Unstable parliament does only harm. President once more criticized constitutional reform, adopted in 2006 that led to that political forces within eight months could not agree and provide normal life for the country.
Yushchenko noted that political forces must form parliament, government and adjust constructive cooperation between power and opposition as soon as possible.
The President criticized position of representatives of opposition forces. “I, as a president, does not share ideology that those who are against power - are enemies,” he said, adding that it is wrong philosophy that was used in times of ex-president Leonid Kuchma when elite was divided on power and opposition. “Those, who had power, were wise, and those, who were in opposition, were stupid…,”Yushchenko said.
Yushchenko called again the politicians to involve opposition in formation of the state. “Opposition must participate in making of state decisions,” he added.
