Parliamentary elections in Ukraine were held with the purpose to get experience from recent political situation. The Party of Regions member Mykhaylo Chechetov said that in an interview to the ForUm’s correspondent.
According to Chechetov, the elections were held in order, having undertaken serious trial, politicians of different level, including local authorities and VRU, Ministers and the President, to work hard in legal field, obeying laws and constitution. “This lesson must be learnt by every politician,” he noted.
He also noted that the Party of Regions always followed laws and Constitution, but not party or corporate interests. He promised that in the parliament the PR would act on the basis of laws and Constitution. “We will not allow our political opponents to break neither law, Constitution, parliament work, nor its regulations. That’s why our actions in the parliament will be adequate to actions of our opponents,” Chechetov said.
