President Viktor Yushchenko on Monday met with Viktor Vekselberg, chairman of the board of directors of the large Russian conglomerate Renova Group, which owns Dniprogaz.
They spoke about how and when to pay damages to the victims of the October 13 natural gas explosion in Dnipropetrovsk and restore gas supplies to the Peremoha district where the blast occurred, president's press office reported.
Vekselberg assured Yushchenko his company would pay UAH 500,000 to each victim.
