Party of Regions will not support draft bill on direction of Ukrainian troops to Afghanistan for participation in peacemaking operations. People’s deputy from party of Regions Volodymyr Zubanov said that today in an interview to ForUm’s correspondent.
“The Party of Regions must do everything possible for our children not to be at war for another’s interests in other countries. That’s why I am convinced that the PR will not support it,” he said.
Earlier, Defense Minister Anatoly Hrytsenko stated that Ukraine would not consider a question on direction of Ukrainian troops to Afghanistan. Meanwhile the session concerning participation of Ukrainian troops in SEBRIG is going to take place today.
