President Viktor Yushchenko has left on a one-day visit to Dnipropetrovsk region.
According to president’s press office, the objective of the visit is to inspect the scene of Saturday’s natural gas blast in one of the city’s blocks of flats. The President also will meet with its victims will visit hospitals where injured people in the gas blast are.
Yushchenko is also expected to chair a meeting of the State Commission for Ecological Security and Emergencies.
