President Viktor Yushchenko met for face-to-face talks with Polish President Lech Kaczynski in Vilnius on Wednesday, President’s press office reports.

Two leaders spoke about preparations for the Euro 2012 finals.

Yushchenko expressed hopes today’s energy cooperation agreement would facilitate the completion of the Odesa-Brody-Plock-Gdansk oil pipeline project, describing the deal as an “important step in the promotion of energy security.”

He also said Ukraine was ready to share its unique technologies and experience with Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Poland to build a new nuclear power plant in Lithuania.
