Member of “Our Ukraine-People’s Slef-Defense” bloc Vyacheslav Koval thinks that holding a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on energy questions is reasonable today for the necessity to find out the reasons and size of Ukrainian gas debts and situation with the fuel-energy complex in general.
“Today it should be cleared up whose debts Ukraine should pay by giving Russia gas from its own depositories. Neither the government, nor the Fuel and Energy Minister give answers for the questions. The debt’s size and reasons of its appearing also remain unclear”, Koval said.
“The situation with Ukraine’s gas debts could be examined by the NSDC, for the government’s reaction on the RF’s statement concerning Ukrainian debts arouses suspicion that the Cabinet of Ministry doesn’t control the situation in the fuel-energy council”, Koval emphisized.
