Sergey Lavrov asks not to politicize the situation with Russian gas delivery to Ukraine.
“There is no political background in the situation when money had to be payed but they were not,” Lavrov said, commenting on the statements of western politicians concerning the supposedly political reasons in the question on Russian gas deliveries to Ukraine.
Lavrov has noted that Russia is a reliable partner in the sphere of energy deliveries and always carries out its obligations.
Head of the Foreign Ministry of Russia has claimed that Russian side wants see Ukraine “as stable and predictable country”.
He has noted that Russia strives for maintenance of cooperation between governments of Russia and Ukraine. According to the Russian Minister, the agreement has already been achieved concerning the payment for gas delivery to Ukraine.
