President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko wants Ukrainian parliament to be effective institution that together with the head of the State and the government to provide development of democracy, economy and humanitarian policy of Ukraine.
President noted that formation of democratic coalition was always hard.
Yushchenko noted that today politicians, who got the parliament, have possibility to call their adversary not enemy but opponent. “I understand well peculiarities of Ukrainian policy. That’s why I would like to believe that today politicians are able to accept new game rules and behavior in the parliament,” he added.
Yushchenko is convinced that national interests can unite political forces. According to Yushchenko, debates on coalition formation must be based on national interests.
