BYuT will be in opposition in case Party of Regions and "Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” bloc form a coalition. BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko said.
“We are honest with the people both before and after elections. We announce that in case of coalition between PR and OU-PSD, our political force will remain in opposition,” Tymoshenko said.
According to her, BYuT is ready to form a coalition with "OU-PSD" bloc as it was agreed before elections.
At the same time, Tymoshenko noted that cooperation and partnership between democratic forces on the one side and PR on the other is possible only in one direction – provision of parliamentary opposition (Party of Regions) with all necessary rights and competence in order to control actions of power. ”Any other variants of cooperation between our political force and Party of Regions are impossible,” she stressed.
For us, positions are nothing in case we must pay for them independence of Ukraine and national interests. We will better remain in opposition instead to be a political roof for mafia,” she said.
