The government of Viktor Yanukovych and its parliamentary majority have demonstrated their inability to implement national and state priorities, President Viktor Yushchenko said during a regional video conference in Lviv on Wednesday, according to president's press office.

“Yanukovych's cabinet and the coalition of the Communists, the Socialists and the Party of Regions have shown that they are incapable of formulating national priorities and state policy,” he said and added that the country had lived without any economic plan over the past year and a half.

The President called their policy “chaotic and accidental” and said Yanukovych and his political associates Symonenko and Moroz had offered the nation “no fact, no interesting event, no national project that could stay in our memory for six months or a year.”

The country needs a democratic coalition today, he said. “There is only one possible bet and this is to bet on the democratic coalition. We have a chance, a wonderful chance, as there is September 30.”
