The State customs service plans to sign a memorandum with the European Union on expansion of the cooperation. Chairman of the State customs service of Ukraine Olexander Ehorov told journalists in Brussels after the meeting of the subcommittee “Ukraine-EU” №5 on customs and transboundary cooperation.

According to him, there will be a separate memorandum within the framework of which the EU is ready to help.

Ehorov has said that the memorandum may be signed after the affirmation in the EU a new plan of actions on development and modernization of the customs system. Definite actions are foreseen concerning the third countries, and many points of this plan concern Ukraine.

Chairman of the State customs service has noted that Ukraine may obtain not only finance help, but also a technical one, as well as it can obtain advices and consultations.
