Opening the Cabinet session, the first vice Prime Minister Mykola Azarov congratulated his colleagues on adoption to consideration by the parliament a draft budget for 2008, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
According to Azarov, work at budget is going on efficiently enough. He noted that there can't be principally new budget. “Budget is a realistic and is worked out by Ministries and departments staff. It is balanced,” he added.
Azarov noted that for someone October 1st is a day after elections but for government it is a start of next stage of minimal salary, pension and living wage increase. “I ask Minister of Social Policy and Labour Mykhaylo Papiyev to pay attention to all arrangements concerning this growth," he said.
