Now every citizen of Lviv, who has problems with sight, can come and chose audio book to his or her taste. The collection is not big indeed.
Chairman of Lviv regional organization of Ukrainian society of blinds Oksana Potimko has informed that volunteers are necessary for stocking of library funds.
The audio library for blinds was created in the framework of realization of the “Speaking book” project. Thanks to this project, earlier the information computer center has been opened, where about 20 learners twice a week study computer literacy.
The “Speaking book” project is realized with the assistance of Lviv city council, which has allocated more than UAH 19 thousand.
