Party of Regions gathers its supporters in Maydan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv for counteraction of possible attempts to falsify early parliamentary elections. PR leader Viktor Yanukovych said that today.
“We see that neither “orange” team, nor “white brotherhood” win elections honestly, and they understand it. They observe drop in rating. They understand that they are loosing, that’s why they are preparing for falsifications,” Yanukovych said in Poltava, answering the question why Party of Regions set tents in Maydan Nezalezhnosti.
“We have enough strength not to allow falsification,” Yanukovych said, adding “that’s why we will watch attentively and in case of falsification, we will react timely.”
Yanukovych could not give clear answer concerning coalition after elections, but only noted that it is necessary to unite around solving questions for development of the country and around concrete actions.
