President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko guarantees the European community to hold fair and transparent parliamentary elections in Ukraine. He said that today in scope of XI “Ukraine-EU“ summit in Kyiv.
“I want to assure you that parliamentary elections in our country will be democratic, transparent and will correspond to national and international standards,” the President noted.
He expressed confidence that early parliamentary elections will lead to normalization of political situation in the country.
“We follow consolidation of all democratic forces around main national priorities,” Yushchenko noted, adding that period of trials will be finished and there will be steady development of Ukraine.
