Leader of Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych considers that criticism of Cabinet concerning privatization of “Dneprenergo” is connected with parliamentary elections. He said that in Zaporizhzha region, the ForUm’s correspondent informs referring to PR press office.
“This criticism from our opponents is connected with election situation. I would like to ask them why have did not they do it while had power? To criticize is easier than to do something,” Yanukovych said.
He reminded that in 2005 “Dneprenergo” enterprise was announced a bankrupt. According to him, in time of Tymoshenko’s premiership enterprise was estimated only in USD 490 million. “When my Government started to work we decided to renew it. One JS company won a tender to pay USD 200 million for liquidation of debts and USD 200 million for development of “Dneprenergo”. JSC got for this 28% of shares. But the State still has controlling shares of the enterprise that can be sold in future at leat for UAS 1 milliard,” he stressed.
Yanukovych considers that measures taken by his Government concerning “Dneprenergo” improved economy of this enterprise.
