One of the greatest shrines of Christianity – little part of the Vivifying Cross has been brought to Symferopil (Crimea).
As the press service of Symferopil city council informs, the day before at the gates of the Cathedral of Olexander Nevsky the shrine was met by Mayor of Symferopil Gennadiy Babenko, Archbishop of Symferopil, priests and church people. Then religious procession with the shrine took place from the Cathedral to the Church of Three prelates.
The little part of the Cross, on which Jesus was crucified, will be in Symferopil till September 30.
