President Viktor Yushchenko on Wednesday visited the city of Haysyn in Ukraine’s Vinnytsa region.
According to president's press office, Yushchenko took part in a ceremony to present apartment keys to military officers. He said the state would continue to help the army and increase military spending, praising the army’s leaders for their efforts to create professional armed forces.
The president said Ukraine would start producing its own tactical missile complexes to protect the country from terrorist threats.“We really and truly value the Ukrainian army... Ukraine needs what you do,” he said.
Yushchenko then visited the Haysynkhlib (Haysyn Bread) factory.
Now Viktor Yushchenko has finished his visit to Vinnytsa and is on the way to Kyiv.
