Prosecutor General’s Office promises not to interfere with political processes

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Olexander Medvedko has assured Head of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe on observation during the early parliamentary elections in Ukraine Odry Glover about the non-interference of the Prosecutor Office authorities with the political processes. Medvedko has stated during today’s meeting with Glover.

In particular, he has noted that the Prosecutor General’s Office is out of politics, and at the same time, it provides the protection of rights and freedoms of citizens of Ukraine impartially and sufficiently, reacting to the election legislation violation.
