President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko condemned extraordinary VRU session taken place on September 4. “I condemn initiators of this session,” the President said at a briefing on Tuesday after NSDC session, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
Speaking about parliament’s decision concerning changes to the Constitution of immunity and benefits cancellation, Yushchenko noted that there is no sense to comment this decision as it is illegal. “There is nothing changed in legal field after adoption of yesterday’s VRU decision," he said
Yushchenko noted that coalition, having introduced changes to the Constitution, did not do anything in fact.
Yushchenko expressed regret that the PM Yanukovych supported this idea. President stated that People’s deputies who participated in yesterday’s VRU session showed disrespect to the Constitution.
