Hanna Severinsen, Reporter of the PACE Monitoring Committee, considers that the draft bill of the VRU of the fifth convocation on the People’s deputies immunity cancellation is out of time.
According to Severinsen, the delegation of the PACE welcomes the initiative of Ukrainian politicians concerning the People’s deputies immunity restriction. But she noted that such changes should be adopted after the elections.
“The immunity should be restricted. But I’m not sure that this question should be considered in the parliament, which is incapable. There are no 300 plenipotentiary People’s deputies,“ Severinsen noted.
