Yanukovych congratulates winners of the International Pupils' Olympiads

Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych communicated with 25 winners and medalists of the International Pupils’ Olympiads and gave presents to them.

Viktor Yanukovych expressed congratulations and thanked the Olympiad winners noting: “You and I, together with our Government, together with our state are working and creating a positive image of our country. In other words, you are dealing with an image policy, as we officials do. What you do – is very important for every one of you, and for the state as a whole, because your victories at international Olympiads give an opportunity to have an idea of our country, of the Ukrainian people”, Cabinet press office reports.

According to the Head of Government, 25 medals of the Ukrainian pupils, is a great victory of our country, and great personal achievements and, undoubtedly, achievements of the teachers, parents and everyone who have helped the winners to gain education necessary for winning these medals.

At that Viktor Yanukovych noted that “the level of education, development of our country – are, undoubtedly, evaluated in the world and this fact gives more competitiveness to our state”. It obtains rating estimates of different spheres which enable us to fulfill our financial policy at the world’s financial markets.

The PM stressed that the Government spares no effort “to make Ukrainian school able to provide proper education for our children, guarantee access to the best world’s experience, best training technologies owing to computer equipment, the most up-to-date programs”. According to Viktor Yanukovych, the first steps toward such level have been made as a pilot project “School of Future” started. The first school has been opened this year in Yalta.

At the end the Head of Government wished the youth a good school year, to be confident, strong, intelligent and face the future with confidence. “Undoubtedly, you are our hope, hope of our generation that you will work better, will have opportunities to do more for our state than we do today,” Viktor Yanukovych said.
