First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov does not see sense in consideration of budget 2008 at session of NSDC. He said that on Saturday, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

“According to Azarov, NSDC does not deal with budget issues. Neither Budget Code, nor law on NSDC, nor Constitution states it.

Taking it into consideration, Azarov concluded that an attempt to consider budget issues at NSDC is next action of election plan that will not bring use for the country in general.

According to Azarov, there isan order according to which, up to September 15 draft budget must be considered by the Government and be submitted to the VRU. Azarov noted that this draft budget will be in the VRU on September 15. If someone want to consider VRU illegitimate, let him do it, but

Government will follow the Constitution. Azarov noted that decision the NSDC will adopt can be estimated only as recommendations and suggestions. “We will be grateful NSDC for them but we will decide whether to use them,” he said.

As a reminder, Viktor Yushchenko stated that the session thatsome politicians want to hold on September 4 is illegitimate as well as the Parliament of the 5th convocation. President proposed to consider law on state purchases and issues on budget 2008 at NSDC session on September 4.
