Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych congratulated workers of coal industry on Miner Day.
“Polyhedral history of coal industry is full of bright splashes and impetuous decline. Both during decline and growth minors work was always an example of special responsibility, victory and fulfillment of professional duties,” Yanukovych’s stated in his congratulation address.
Yanukovych noted that for recent years Government work is being directed at development of coal industry and its efficiency. “We managed to increase budget financing of this industry and to raise salary for minors. I believe we will revive prestige of minors profession and will guarantee minors social defense, prosperity and security,” he said.
“I wish everybody robust health, family well-fare and further working achievements for Ukraine,” Yanukovych stressed.
Day of Minor is marked on last Sunday of August.
