On Wednesday Viktor Baloha, Head of President’s Secretariat, and Ivan Plyushch, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, took part in a ceremony to honor those serving in Ukraine’s law enforcement, military and financial bodies and working in the Central Election Committee and courts with Independence Day awards.
Plyushch praised their professional commitment, experience and self-denying service.
Presenting awards to those representing the country’s emergency ministry, Baloha noted their leaders had been making lots of "serious and systemic" mistakes recently, President’s press office reports.
