President Viktor Yushchenko on Tuesday sent his condolences to China’s President Hu Jintao after a bridge collapsed while under construction in the town of Fenghuang, killing at least 29 people and leaving dozens injured, president's press office reports.
President also sent his condolences to Kim Jong-il, North Korea’s leader, after devastating floods in this country killed hundreds of people.
Yushchenko said the death of civilians was always a “great loss for mankind and a huge tragedy for their families.”
