President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has stated that Ukraine now is on preparation stage to early p[parliamentary elections and the preparations process is carried out in accordance with the legislation. The President said that at a press conference in Foros, Crimea after the meeting with Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus on Monday.
“The process of preparation to the elections is held in accordance with the acting legislation. On the whole, we approach to elections without fundamental excesses,” he said.
Yushchenko expressed a hope that elections would be fair and democratic and elections would become a new way of relations formation between political forces.
In turn Adamkus said that he was glad to hear that preparation for elections was carried out in a calm way.
