Difficulties during the visas obtainment in European countries will be minimized, when the agreement on visas regime simplification between Ukraine and EU comes into force.
According to Head of the Foreign Ministry Andriy Deshchytsa, Ukraine hopes this agreement will come into force till the end of 2007. Deshchytsa emphasizes that foreign-policy department constantly controls questions concerning visa policy.
He notes that some diplomatic representative offices of European states have their own procedures of visa issuance, and the Foreign Ministry doesn’t agree with this. “We’re waiting for maximal visa regime simplification”.
