Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushchenko on Monday issued a decree to rescind a resolution by the Government of Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych on the rules to appoint and dismisssome deputy ministers, local officials and heads of Ukraine’s trade and economic missions abroad and state-owned companies, asking the Constitutional Court of Ukraine to rule on its constitutionality.

The corresponding President's decree “On rescinding of some points of Cabinet resolution from June 26, 2007” is publicized on President’s web site.

According to President’s press service, resolution is rescinded because of discrepancy of Cabinet resolution to the Constitution.
