Minister of Foreign Affairs Arseniy Yatsenyuk as the People’s deputy candidate intends to take a vacation for the period of the election campaign, and the Foreign Ministry will determine the arrangements in which he will take part as the Minister. Head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry Andriy Deshchytsa has stated at a briefing.
According to him, “arrangements, in which Yatsenyuk will take part, are being determined, and for this period he will fulfill Minister’s duties, and for another period he plans to take a vacation, as the legislation foresees”.
At the same time, Deshchytsa notes that Yatsenyuk has not written an application for a vacation yet, but he intends to do this.
According to Deshchytsa, Yatsenyuk plans to participate in the meeting of ambassadors, which will take place on August 27-29, in Ukraine-EU summit in the middle of September, and in the work of General Assembly of UNO in December.
Deshchytsa says that the first deputy Volodymyr Khandogiy will fulfill the duties of the Foreign Minister for the period of Yatsenyuk’s vacation.
