Maryna Stavniychuk, deputy head of the President’s Secretariat and President’s representative to the Central Election Commission and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, said on Sunday that registration documents submitted by BYuT to the Central Election Commission “meet all necessary requirements.” Stavniychuk was present at CEC session.
CEC remarks concerning incorrect fill in up document concern only place of residence. Stavniychuk noted that place of residence means only a city. So there is no mistake in BYuT document when BYuT members gave only the city instead of the whole address as CEC demands.
Stavniychuk said the BYuT could appeal against Saturday’s decision by the Central Election Commission not to register it for early parliamentary elections but added that this might lead to the commission being unable to work properly and effectively because of court rulings.
