Golden Gates will be opened in October

Now in Kyiv restoration of the “Golden Gates” is being held. Restoration is expected to finish in October, General director of the National reserve “Sophia Kyivska” Nelya Kukovalska said yesterday at a briefing in Kyiv, having noted that after restoration Golden Gates must became a dynamic and interesting object for visitors.

According to her, all rooms of the Golden Gate will be renewed and exposition will be changed. Such changes will renew appearance of the city and increase number of tourists. “Here is definite symbolist that guest of the capital will entrance Kyiv – the city of Yaroslav the Wise through Golden Gates," she said.
