Ukraine imposed ban on import of poultry and its production from Estonia. The reason of ban is Newcastle disease on the territory of Estonia, according to the State department of veterinary medicine of Ukraine press office.

Newcastle disease is dangerous disease of poultry that infect people. Disease is spread as a result of poultry, carcass meat and eggs import.

As a reminder, 90% of Ukrainian poultry were subjected to vaccination to prevent this disease. The last case of Newcastle disease of poultry in Ukraine was fixes in July of the current year in Cholovichi village in Zhytomyr region.
