President Viktor Yushchenko on Tuesday honored Ukrainian builders with state awards. (Ukraine will be celebrating Builder’s Day on Sunday, August 12), president's press office reported.
“Without your hands and what you do there will be no progress and revival of the country. This is not an ordinary profession. A talented builder leaves a trace of which future generations are proud,” he said, thanking the builders for their contribution to the development of the national construction industry.
Yushchenko said Ukraine’s new parliament and government would make it their priority to introduce reforms in the sector.
