Leader of the Socialist’s party of Ukraine, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the fifth convocation Olexander Moroz considers that the decisions of the extraordinary parliament’s session to be legitimate. He stated at the press conference in Kyiv.
He noted that the statement of Justice Minister Olexander Lavrynovych was incorrect. Lavrynovych stated on Friday that the People’s deputies had right to hold session but did not have right to adopt any decisions. Moroz is assured that in case of presence of enough People’s deputies quantity, the session is able to adopt any decisions.
Besides, Moroz claimed once more that he had received the affirmation of Prime Minister of Ukraine, Party of Regions’ leader Viktor Yanukovych about the readiness of the Party of Regions faction to take part in the extraordinary VRU session.
“I discussed this question with Yanukovych once more, and he affirmed again the readiness of the faction to enter the session’s hall,” Moroz said.
“Probably, we will hold the session this week, because it will be unreasonable to hold the session later,” the VRU chairman added.
