Ukraine is interested in tight cooperation with Slovakia in the sector of energy security, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych told in a telephone conversation with his Slovak opposite number Robert Fico, Government’s press office reports.
The parties discussed diversification of energy supplies to Ukraine and EU.
The Government finds fulfilment of the EuroAsian Oil-Transport Corridor project as very important.
The Prime Minister stated his gratitude to Slovakia for support of Ukraine at reaching an enhanced agreement between Ukraine and EU.
