Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Olexander Moroz says the Socialist Party of Ukraine will leave the majority coalition, if the extraordinary session of the Verkhovna Rada is not take place.
“If Party of Regions is against (of session holding – ed.) because of the imagined arguments, then the SPU faction will make corresponding steps,” Moroz said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday, commenting on statement of the Party of Regions on inexpediency of the extraordinary session holding.
“It is possible to take part in the elections as the representatives of the Government or as the resigned representatives of the Government,” the speaker noted.
Moroz explained that it will be of no need to vote for the Government resignation in the VRU. According to him, if there is no coalition in the parliament, then in 30 days after its breakdown, the Government considers to be resigned.
The coalition consists of Party of Regions, socialists, and communists.
