Aim of new President’s Decree on early parliamentary elections on September 30 is harmonization of question that can rise concerning ambiguity of the beginning of election process. Representative of the President in the CEC and CCU Maryna Stavniychuk said that today at a briefing, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
“The matter concerns that elections process starts the day after publication of the President’s decree on VRU dissolution,” he said.
According to Stavniychuk, decree was signed in order nobody can state that elections are announced and held not in correspondence with the laws. New decree defines date of start of election process – August 2.
“Decree of the President from July 31 has formal-legal character that mainly concerns regulation of questions on election process,” she said.
Moreover she reminded that tomorrow 60-day term will expires since the moment of adoption of changes to the law on parliamentary elections.
