Political instability and the perspective of the early elections have become practically the reasons of slowdown of all structural reforms, started by the Government. Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych stated at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm’s correspondent informs.
According to the PM, this year the Tax code has been prepared for the first time, which foresees the tax pressure decrease and the simplification of the taxation system.
Yanukovych emphasized that the tax reform “stays only on the paper”.
“A row of bills and decisions, directed to serious decrease of shadow economy, have been left on the paper,” he added.
The Prime Minister noted that Ukraine “is on the threshold of serious trials”. “But I believe that wise Ukrainian people will cope with all these temporal difficulties, and will become stronger and united. I believe that the movement of Ukraine in the direction of strategic reforms is invariably, and it means that we have a lot of work to do. And with the help of God we will do all for our country, we will improve life of our citizens”, the Head of the Government summarized.
