On Tuesday freight train as a result of reverse movement collided with wagons in Ternopil region at “Ternopil-tovarny” station. As a result of accident six wagons derailed.
According to the specialists, accident is caused by inattention of engine driver or switchman who forgot to throw a switch and the train did not stop in time.
Fortunately there were no victims. Freight wagons that derailed were empty.
