President Viktor Yushchenko on Monday congratulated the Kyiv region’s grain growers on harvesting their first million tons of grain.
“Despite this year’s unfavorable weather conditions, the Kyiv region’s grain growers have been working hard and self-denyingly. They have been using modern technologies to make a great contribution to the country’s grain reserves,” he wrote in a telegram to Kyiv Governor Vira Ulyanchenko.
Yushchenko wished the grain growers inspiration, faith and strength.
