First vice PM Mykola Azarov is convinced that Ukraine needs realization of urgent program on struggle against corruption. Azarov said that on Sunday in scope of the meeting with delegation of Atlantic Council of the USA headed by the Ambassador William Miller.
Azarov noted that Ukraine needs realization of profound anti corruption program and informed delegation about strategy and tactics developed by the government. Azarov named strategic course of system on corruption counteraction. According to him, this will contribute to creation and strengthening of institutions of civil society; to modernization of legislative and judicial systems; to provision of transparent state decisions and development of mass media that will be independent on parties and oligarch clans.
Azarov considers that realization of anti corruption strategy is possible under condition of consolidation of patriotic and pragmatic forces who opened way to structure reforms.
In turn, Miller appreciated detailed and transparent information obtained in scope of the meeting with Azarov and wished him successes in realization of social-economic plans.
