Legality of parliament session is foreseen by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine. The VRU speaker Olexander Moroz specifies on it, according to SPU press office.
“Closing the VRU session, I said that we would hold extraordinary session in case of necessity,” Moroz said.
According to him, budget revision, changes to the Constitution and restriction of the People’s deputy immunity belong to necessary issues to be considered in the VRU.
“We do not jabber, we offer concrete steps. Vote for changes to the Constitution and stop holding demagogy. Look, those People’s deputies strive for cancellation of immunity, who were People’s deputies several times but raise this question only now. Including the President, who strives for immunity cancellation but at the same time forgets that he is a subject of legislative initiative and he can just submit for consideration draft bill on changes to the Constitution to the VRU,” he said.
