Ukraine intends to reduce number of its peacemakers in hot “spots” gradually. Leonid Polyakov temporally acting Defense Minister of Ukraine said today at a briefing, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
According to Polyakov, number of militaries who run peacemaking missions in Iraqi is going to be reduced gradually up to 50 persons. They will mainly help local authorities in conflicts regulation, UNIAN reports.
In Afghanistan where there is now one peacemaker, number of them can be increased up to 10.
