The head of the political council of “Our Ukraine”-“People’s self-Defense” bloc Vyacheslav Kyrylenko considers that it is necessary one more decree of the President Viktor Yushchenko to launch election campaign. He said that today at a press conference in Cherkasy region, according to OU-PSD bloc press service.
“The Verkhovna Rada has become illegitimate long time ago. All political forces understand that, as well the members of the anti-crisis coalition do. Socialists also admit it, but their leader has not decided it yet,” he said.
“We repeatedly warned Olexander Moroz about his responsibility for an improper use of the state funds after the President signed the decree on VRU dissolution,” he noted.
Kyrylenko is convinced that in accordance with the law on elections, it is necessary one more decree of the President to launch election campaign. “Early parliamentary elections will start next day after Presidential decree is publicized. The date of the elections was determined by the previous decree. The election campaign lasts 60 days, i.e. since August 2. Naturally, we should expect another Presidential decree,” he said.
