Ukraine and Italy signed an intergovernmental agreement on military and technical cooperation. The document was signed during the meeting of Minister of Industrial policy of Ukraine Anatoliy Golovko with Secretary General of Defense and National Armaments Director of Italy Gianni Botondi.
The agreement foresees measure on expansion of cooperation effectiveness in the sphere of development and manufacture of merchandises and services for defense purpose, and also the delivery of equipment, corresponding material, and technical provision.
Besides, the participants of the meeting discussed the question on formation of Joint Ukrainian-Italian commission on military and science cooperation.
Golovko also emphasized the interest of Ministry of Industrial policy in activation of contacts between two countries in the sphere of defense and in promotion of Ukrainian production at the foreign market.
